  1. Synonymous Proverbs

  3.      We  know  that  a  synonym  is  used  in
  4. reference to  two words which  have basically
  5. the same  meaning. A synonymous  proverb then
  6. is   one   in   which   both   lines  express
  7. essentially the same thing, but are expressed
  8. in a slightly different manner.

  10. Examples of Synonymous Proverbs
  11.  
  12.      "When   a   wicked    man   dieth,   his
  13. expectation  shall  perish:  and  the hope of
  14. unjust men perisheth" (Proverbs 11:7).

  16.      "In  the way  of righteousness  is life;
  17. and in the pathway thereof there is no death"
  18. (Proverbs 12:28).

  20.      "The evil  bow before the  good; and the
  21. wicked  at   the  gates  of   the  righteous"
  22. (Proverbs 14:19).

  24.      "A  man hath  joy by  the answer  of his
  25. mouth: and  a word spoken in  due season, how
  26. good is it! (Proverbs 15:23).
